Burn Treatment

Burn is a very special form of injury whose acute and chronic consequences need to be treated by a very specialized person or team. Dr. Hayek spent one year of his training in plastic surgery treating patients with major burns giving the edge of being able to anticipate and prevent many of the possible acute and chronic complications in burn patients. His aggressive training allowed him to be able to deal with burns in all age groups to give the best functional and cosmetic results possible. His approach involves a clear plan of the treatment from day one of the injury until the patient’s discharge from the hospital and then his/her return to the normal daily life and social interaction.
